W.S.S. pledged for 1918 button.

This button features an outline of a blue upside down triangle on a white background. Inside the triangle is written "W.S.S. PLEDGED FOR 1918." On the reverse is a paper insert with the name of the manufacturer, "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. BUTTONS, BADGES, NOVELTIES AND SIGNS." Below this is the seal for the Allied Printing Trades Union Label Council with a small number 3 next to it and the manufacturer's location, "NEWARK, N.J.
