General (Retired) Stanley McChrystal to receive 2026 Citizen Soldier Award at Liberty Gala

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library (PMML) is proud to honor General (Retired) Stanley McChrystal as recipient of the 2026 Citizen Soldier Award. The Citizen Soldier Award stands to honor a person who exemplifies the traditions set by George Washington; a person who serves the nation as a leader in war and in peace, for the betterment of the common good. The award recognizes individuals who exemplify courageous, steadfast leadership in both military and civilian circles.

PMML to Honor 2026 Founder’s Award Recipients at Liberty Bash

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library (PMML) will honor three distinguished leaders as recipients of the 2026 Founder’s Award at the annual Liberty Bash, to be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This year’s theme, Spirit of ’76: Birth of the Citizen Soldier, commemorates the founding of the United States while celebrating leaders whose work reflects service, leadership, and civic commitment.

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library (PMML) will honor Vietnam veterans Sp4c. Gary George Wetzel, U.S. Army (Ret.) and SGT. Allen James Lynch, U.S. Army (Ret.) at the Medal of Honor Day Program on March 25 at 2 p.m. Central.
