Colonel Charles K. Dalgleish USA (Retired)

Colonel Dalgleish is the President of a Viking-themed 501c3 nonprofit that helps active and veteran military through programs that include adventurous, athletic, skills oriented, and historic focused activities. He served in the US military on active and reserve duty for over 31 years and led a career in the CIA as a Paramilitary Operations Officer – an elite cadre - where he retired as a senior officer. He is a combat veteran many times over in multiple wars, conflicts, and covert actions both in and out of uniform and has been decorated for his service. In the Army, he was affiliated with the Ranger Regiment and served with the Joint Special Operations Command and various Special Operations and Special Mission Units. He is a Distinguished Honor Graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and a graduate of the National War College. He is a published author on military history and intelligence topics and is a frequent contributor to the CIA’s “Studies in Intelligence” journal where three times he has received their annual award for Intelligence History writing. Colonel Dalgleish is fluent in several European and South Asian languages and can read Old Norse. He is a member of the Society of the Cincinnati and the Special Forces Club in London.

John Deblasio

John DeBlasio currently serves as Chairman & CEO of  DT Institute which is a non-profit he founded in 2019 to continue his work globally on democracy and governance issues which impact US national security interests.  He created the GPD Charitable Trust after successfully building Sallyport Global Holdings from inception to sale in 2011.  This organization funds the activities of both the DeBlasio Family Foundation (DFF) and the grants and research activities of DT Institute.  The Trust is also a primary investor in DT Global which is one of the leading International Development Firms in the world and operates in over 70 countries where it works to improve the Societal Development Goals (SDG’s) adopted by the United Nations in 2015.  John is also Chairman of ContinuityGS which works as a partner of the US Department of State protecting America’s embassies around the world.  John continues to innovate and expand the thinking of the global security and international development field through his work.

John is a 1989 West Point graduate and served 21 years in the U.S. Army and US Army Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.  He holds a Master of International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina, is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Chicago, and serves on various other non-profit Boards including, Illinois Joining Forces, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, University of Chicago Crime Lab (Advisory Board), and the Business Executives for National Security (BENS) Midwest Regional Council.

David M. Geertsen, CPA (Retired), CGMA

David M. Geertsen is a career financial professional with extensive leadership experience in both public service and nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as a Kenosha County Board Supervisor, President of the Kenosha Community Foundation, and Treasurer of the Kenosha Community Health Center. Previously, Dave spent 30 years as Kenosha County's CFO, where his financial strategies helped secure the county's AAA bond rating. He has also held roles as a Village of Somers Trustee and a Trustee for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. An active community leader, Dave has contributed to numerous organizations dedicated to civic, cultural, and welfare causes.

Joe Heins, United Airlines

Joe is a graduate of the US Navy Engineering Test Pilot School, has a BS in aviation management from Southern Illinois University, and is currently the Vice President of Network Operations for United Airlines.

Mark R. Jacobson, PhD USN (Ret.)

Mark Jacobson has over thirty-years of experience in the U.S. government, international organizations, the non-profit sector, and academia. He currently serves as a Senior Fellow at Salve Regina University’s Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy. An Afghanistan veteran, Jacobson served for over 26 years as a military and naval reservist. A historian by training, Jacobson focuses on the use of military memoirs as a vehicle for understanding the past and holds a BA from the University of Michigan and a PhD from Ohio State University.

Ginny Narsete is a retired Air Force veteran and current Chairperson of  Operation HerStory.

Dr. Terrell Odom

Dr. Terrell Odom currently serves as Chairman for the City of Chicago’s Advisory Council for Veterans Affairs, strategic advisor for National Able Network’s veterans program, ambassador for the American Legion’s Military Credential Advancement Initiative, a member of the USS Illinois 786 Club, a Board Member for Chicago Veterans, and founder of Veterans Serving Our Communities (VSOC) – a 501c organization that provides mentoring programs for middle and high-school students in underserved communities.
