Vice Admiral Sandra Stosz, USCG (ret): Breaking Ice & Breaking Glass

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is excited to welcome Vice Admiral Sandra Stosz, USCG (ret) for the first time to discuss her new book, Breaking Ice & Breaking Glass, Leading in Uncharted Waters.  VADM Stosz offers a valuable insight into effective leadership from her forty years extensive experience. Her book includes useful tools and proven principles that aim to help people, leaders and organizations achieve their goals.

Admiral Sandy Stosz served for 40 years in the US Coast Guard, including 12 years at sea. Her career was filled with leadership lessons gleaned while breaking ice and breaking glass as the first woman to command an icebreaker on the Great Lakes and to lead a US armed forces service academy.
