2025 Holiday & Special Hours

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library occasionally closes or operates under reduced hours in observance of national holidays or special events. The Museum's regular operating hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

2025 Free Days and Closures:

The Museum & Library will be FREE on the following days:

Saturday, May 25^th in Honor of Memorial Day

Saturday, November 9^th in Honor of Veterans Day

The Museum & Library will be closed or have limited hours on the following days (please review our regular hours for all other days):

Staff Development Day: Closed on Friday, May 30^th

Juneteenth: Closed on Thursday, June 19^th

Independence Day: Closed on Friday, July 4^th

Annual Liberty Gala: Closed on Saturday, September 7^th

Veterans Day: Closed on Tuesday, November 11^th

Thanksgiving Eve: Closed at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26^th

Thanksgiving: Closed on Thursday, November 27^th

Christmas Eve: Closed on Wednesday, December 24^th

Christmas Day: Closed on Thursday, December 25^th

New Year's Eve: Closed on Wednesday, December 31^st

New Year's Day: Closed on Thursday, January 1^st

*The offices of PMML are closed on all national/federal holidays including Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Veterans Day.
