Pritzker Military Presents: Challenges of Diversity in the U.S. Military

Join us on May 17 for a conversation on diversity and inclusion in U.S. military institutions. Dr. Matthew S. Muehlbauer, Chief Military Historian of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, will moderate a panel with featured guests Dr. Robert Jefferson of the University of New Mexico, attorney Scarlett Kim of the American Civil Liberties Union, and Dr. Heather Stur of the University of Southern Mississippi. They will discuss both the historical context as well as contemporary issues that shape the challenges of incorporating minorities, women, and immigrants into America’s armed forces.
