Barbed Wire

Brought back from France, these three rusty artifacts were present at the Battle of Normandy which began on D-Day.

These two pieces of barbed wire were once part of German fortifications on Utah Beach. These strongholds, or Weiderstandnest in German, could consist of a bunker, trenches, barbed wire, mines, machine guns, or anti-tank artillery.
