German beer stein

This beer stein has three oval shapes on it, each depicting a different scene on a blue background. The first has two raised figures carved in an ivory color, one a soldier and the other a woman. They stand close together and the woman appears to be whispering to the soldier. The second scene features Germania, holding a sword and with the German Empire's coat of arms on her shield. The third scene once again depicts a soldier and a woman, this time in an embrace. Each scene features a small amount of German text surrounding the figures. In between each oval-shaped scene are carvings of a bearded man's face with a winged helmet, a cross with the years, "1870 and 71," as well as a "W" written on its arms and at the bottom, a shield and weaponry. Both the top and bottom of the stein, as well as the handle, have a blue dotted design. The rim has the marking "1/2 L." carved into it. The bottom of the stein has the number "684" on it.
