Nick Pinchuk is chairman and chief executive officer of Snap-on Incorporated. Pinchuk’s career has been marked by ongoing service to his country, to his company, and to the American workforce. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard and both a Master’s and Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Nick is a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam and retiring as a Captain.
Prior to joining Snap-on in 2002 as senior vice president and president – Worldwide Commercial & Industrial Group, Nick was president of global refrigeration operations, a multi-billion-dollar business unit of Carrier Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation. He also spent more than a decade as president of Carrier’s Asia Pacific operations, based in that region. Prior to United Technologies, he was with Ford Motor Company, where he held various finance and engineering positions.
Under Nick’s leadership, Snap-on supports a variety of national and local veteran causes. Since 2013, the company has partnered with the Honor Flight Network, bringing heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials erected in their honor. As part of this longstanding collaboration, Snap-on is the first company to regularly offer its associates, franchisees, and their extended family members an expanded three-day tour of important monuments and military sites throughout the capital region. For many years, Nick has also served on the judging panel for Chief Executive Group’s Patriots in Business Awards, which recognize small and large companies for outstanding engagement with and service to military members, veterans, and their families.
