- General Notes:
- Title by cataloger.
- Pistol is chambered in 7.65 x 17 mm Browning SR, also known as .32 ACP.
- The proof mark of Gardone, which consists of a circle with a lion inside of it and a crown above the circle, is stamped on the left side of the frame to the rear of the grip near the tang. The serial number is stamped on the right side slide and frame. Another marking is stamped into the right side trigger guard that consists of a rectangle with the letters, "BU" inside of it. This portion of the trigger guard has some deep scratches above the, "BU".
- The date code, "BU", is an Italian date code for 2004. It is unclear why a pistol produced in 1944 has a 2004 date code but it is possible that the original date code was scratched off and replaced as there are scratch marks near the date code.
- Serial number is 509635.
