Museum & Library Tours

Explore the story of the Citizen Soldier with a docent-guided tour for your group.

Daily Tours take place at 11 a.m. and are free with admission. The tour meets at the main desk on the first level of the Library and provides an overview of the Museum & Library and its exhibits, collections, and programs.

Standard Group Tours of the Museum & Library are offered Monday through Saturday during public hours and include a 45-minute docent-led tour of the Museum & Library’s two floors. This tour includes an introduction to the Museum & Library and access to the permanent and rotating exhibits. Admission is $5.00 per person.

Looking to explore the Museum & Library on a deeper level? Our Behind-the-Scenes Tour provides visitors with experiences not normally available to the public like a white-glove rare book demonstration and archivist-led presentation of artifacts from our special collections. This 90-minute tour is $10 per person and perfect for groups with an interest in American history.
