2025 PMML Rewind
What a year it’s been at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library! Here’s how we made history (and had a little fun along the way). Behind the scenes, we grew stronger with 5 new staff members onboarded and ready to keep the mission moving forward. 2025 was bold and unforgettable. Thanks for being part of our story. Sharing Stories of the Citizen Soldier
We sent stories flying across the country with 506 library books checked out through interlibrary loans. Archive visitors dove into 29 different research collections because curiosity never takes a day off.
In Swing With Exhibits & Events
Our exhibits were packed: 345 items on display in 2025, with 200 treasures from PMML’s own vaults and 145 “on-loan” gems. Music lovers got a treat with 2 live performances from Chicago Symphony musicians, proving history sounds even better with strings attached.
Shop Local
Our gift shop kept it local with 44 “Local Vibes” items, spotlighting small businesses that bring big personality.
Good Cheer
Over 90 attended the Winter House. When Santa arrived, all hearts were filled with cheer.
