Membership Program Update

Starting January 1, 2021, members will see some changes to our Membership program. 

First and foremost, dues remain the same. Perhaps the most noticeable change will be the new names for each member level, which reflect the characteristics and values found in citizen soldiers – Duty, Honor, Courage, Valor and Sacrifice. 

Our Active Military, Veteran and Educator members will automatically become Honor members and the cost remains just $45. In fact, active members of the military, veterans and educators can now apply a $15 discount to all levels of membership.

Many member benefits – free admission, book borrowing privileges, and access to our extensive online catalog of programs and resources – will remain in place. Benefit changes coming on January 1st include:

• Honor level members and above will receive our new On War magazine in addition to the two editions of the Frontline newsletter.  

• In addition to free admission to regular program events, all Honor level members and above will now receive free admission to exhibit openings and special member events as well as discounted parking at the Millennium Garages. 

• Although the discount on merchandise in our Gift Shop is reducing from 25% to 10%, the discount will now extend to all members at the Honor level and higher.

Benefits changes take effect on January 1, 2021. No action is needed – benefits will be updated automatically and members will receive a notice when it’s time to renew. For members who signed up for automatic renewal, your membership will renew automatically on your regular renewal date.
