Associate Chief Librarian

Tina Louise Mead began working at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library in 2011, when the Museum & Library moved into the Michigan Avenue location. She manages the purchasing of new materials, the collection’s ongoing maintenance, assists visitors at the Museum & Library’s reference desk, and provides tours to the public. She is proud to work at an organization whose central mission is preserving and sharing stories.

She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a bachelor's degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics, with which she had a previous career as a sound engineer in theater. She earned her master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. While earning her masters she interned at Truman College, Glencoe Public Library, and the Museum of Contemporary Art’s library.
