Director of Museum Collections

Dustin DePue manages the Pritzker Military Museum & Library's Special Collections, Archives, and Digital Lab. Dustin and his team oversee the acquisition, preservation, cataloging, and display of archival collections, artifacts, photographs, prints, and posters. As such, they are responsible for the development and installation of exhibits at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library

Dustin holds a Masters in Library and Information Science from Dominican University and a B.A. in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago.

Dustin joined the Pritzker MIlitary Museum & Library in 2011 as a volunteer and intern before being hired as the Special Collections Librarian in 2012. Following a brief period as the Interim Manager of Special Collections, Dustin became the Director of Museum Collections in Spring, 2019. 

Dustin believes strongly in the Museum & Library's mission to aquire and maintain an accessible collection. He believes that access to information is essential to a free society and that the Pritzker Military Museum & Library's committment to accessibility is one of its defining qualities.
